Nanalysis is in sunny (and very friendly) Missoula Montana for the Northwest Regional ACS Meeting.
I’ve learned all sorts of things so far!
1) Missoula is a pretty awesome town– hiking, baseball, Microbreweries, Artisandistilleries (I highly recommend the Go Gingerly), river surfing on a man-made wave, fly fishing…..I could go on!
2) Soft Robotics are cool. I probably should have heard of them before, but I hadn’t. BYU Idaho lets undergrads research these things, something to consider.
3) Describing a buffer as a conjugate acid/base pair that resists changes in pH for small additions of acid or base may not be an entirely accurate representation.
